nFocus were named finalists in the Services Company of the Year and Specialist Vendor of the Year categories. The criteria the judges used to evaluate the entry include the ability to consistently meet and exceed challenging objectives, demonstrating a quality approach, evidence of exceeding expectations, innovation and being able to demonstrate quantifiable performance improvements through the achievement of success delivery of IT systems.

nFocus Managing Director Phil Edwards explained, “we’re honoured and very proud to be named finalists by the UK IT Industry Awards. The awards evaluate entries by appropriate but very strict guidelines and so to have achieved this success based on our demonstrable delivery success, innovation and measurable success is an incredible achievement. I’d like to thank my talented team as it is their passion, expertise and dedication that has enabled us to become double finalists.”

The UK IT Industry Awards begin with a detailed submission against a stringent set of criteria specific for each award category. Judges then review the entries looking for evidence of achievement filtering out all marketing/company PR style submissions. Once this process is complete the UK IT Industry Awards announce their shortlist of finalists for each category. The next stage is the ‘Judging Day’ whereby all finalists are given the opportunity to deliver a ten-minute presentation to a panel of esteemed judges followed by ten minutes Q&A.

nFocus Technical Director, Danny Crone, and Marketing and Client Director, Ryan James, attended the judging day. Danny Crone explained, “the Judging Day is a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We had the opportunity to expand further on what we do, how we do it and why it has made such a difference to our clients to a panel of our peers. To reach the finalist stage alone is a massive achievement and I look forward to celebrating the industries success at the awards ceremony on November 13th.”
