15/01/2024, Telford – Last year, we marked a significant moment in our company’s history – our Managing Director, Ryan James’ 15th years of dedicated service. Ryan has been instrumental in shaping our company’s growth and success. He is a great example of how nFocus nurtures and develops their staff, having started as a graduate 15 years ago to now running the company – these are the opportunities that await you when you join nFocus. We gather not only to celebrate a remarkable milestone but to also reflect on the incredible journey Ryan has been on. He shared his thoughts on this special milestone below.
In His Own Words
“Having joined the company all those years ago as a fresh-faced graduate, I’m not sure I could have imagined the years that would follow or just how much I would enjoy them.
Of course, over those 15 years, there has been a whole host of notable moments but I can’t help but reflect on the more recent history. I am beyond proud to see that in just 18 months, our Test Automation Academy has successfully hired, trained and deployed 34 incredible people at the start of their IT careers. I’m also so thankful to our senior testing practice who continue to successfully support complex projects and programmes, year after year; doing it in such a way that achieves such pleasing client feedback.
I wanted to take a moment to thank nFocus’ founders for all of the opportunities they’ve given me. I really do value your support and trust. My brilliant colleagues (then and now) who have made the journey an awful lot of fun and not forgetting our wonderful clients who I genuinely love working with. I’m honoured to have this opportunity to work with you all and look forward to seeing where we all go from here.”

Financial Director, Chris Edge: “Ryan started working for nFocus as a Graduate 15 years ago. He has worked his way up through hard work and dedication from a Sales & Marketing Assistant to Managing Director, a fantastic achievement over his career and for someone at such a young age.
As Managing Director, he brings out the best in people and gives them a belief in themselves to achieve their goals and this is shown in amongst other things, the fantastic results of nFocus’ own graduate programme of which he is one of the pioneers.
His leadership and determination have brought about further unprecedented success to the company, it now stands bigger and better than it ever did with record numbers of employees and customers.
A pleasure to work with and I wish him continuing success over the next 15 years.”
